Agamy makes the Cuvée Bernard Pivot 2014

An exceptional vintage for an exceptional man…

It was at Quincié-en-Beaujolais that the Beaujolais Villages Cuvée Bernard Pivot 2014 tasting was held this year. Amongst 12 Agamy wines, we selected the one that, after ageing, is to become the Cuvée Bernard Pivot, which belongs to our group of winemakers, and of which we produce 15,000 bottles per year. With finesse and rigour, Agamy’s wine expert Jean-Luc Chagny selects bottles that will provide a variety of options for an outstanding wine-tasting experience.

This year the Agamy team, surrounded by Bernard Pivot and his foodie friends (journalist Pericot Légasse, Michelin-starred chefs Christian Têtedoie and Pierre Troisgros, restaurant owner Marc Rongeat, etc.) selected Cuvée No. 5. Described as “gourmet, fruity, balanced and feminine”. This wine was the favourite of both the jury and our Agamy winemakers, who considered it perfect for taking consumers on a new journey into the land of Gamay.
